Peer Team Student Tutor (PTST) is an innovative scheme introduced at our college. Academically sharp students are selected in each discipline and they are given the responsibility of training their peer group in explaining the subjects. They conduct weekly tests and give suitable assignments. Each PTST takes care of two or three of their wards. More than 50 % of the late bloomers passed in their arrear papers because of the strenuous efforts taken by PTSTs. They handled the remedial classes to needy students, three hours per week during the morning study hours.
Tutorial classes are offered to the needy in the subjects in which they need to be trained, by the class teachers who stay here after the class hours, the Resident Acharyas and the Peer Team Student Tutors (PTST).
